Poetry Sunday: Attention Please

I went searching for another poem that I wanted to feature today and I stumbled across this one. It stopped me in my tracks. I loved the imagery of it - becoming a kite and being carried like a scrap of paper in the wind. And so I ended my search and decided to save that other poem for another day.

Comments

  1. Sometimes I feel like that kite when I read: floating above it all where personal desires and despairs matter less. Good poem.

  2. I like it! As one grows older one feels like that kite sometimes.

    1. Indeed. One feels the tug of that distant string.
